The sneakers are taking over! The sneakers are taking over!
Tis the season to break out the sneakers, and show some ankle ;). And when I say sneakers I’m talking anything from New Balance to Toms. Yeah, I said Toms! Listen, a sneaker is defined as a high or low shoe, usually of fabrics such as canvas, with a rubber or synthetic sole. So yeah, Toms are included.
Remember back in the day when business women would wear sneakers with their suits to work and then change into their pumps to wear at the office and to meetings? Well consider this history repeating itself, but in a cooler way. Like, maybe the blazer, but, no suits (no disrespect to suits because you could rock some cool sneaks with a suit if you needed to).
Be sure to get a sneaker that adds a little zing to your outfit to make it more fun and make your feet more comfortable. You’ll definitely have a little more pep in your step and then you can cross this sneaker trend off your list.
Later!

I used a J.Crew suit blazer to class up a simple white, American Apparel v-neck tee, and khakis with a thin braided belt from Scotch and Soda. Oops! and I almost forgot my chains.

I actually got these sneakers from the Boys Department at H&M. I liked the pop of color, and I found my size! You know the old saying, “if the shoe fits, wear it!”
